Tom Fertal is the Director of Spiritual Life at Lancaster Catholic High School in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He has presented talks and workshops to teens, parents and youth leaders at the local, diocesan, regional and national level including the Fan the Fire Youth Rally and the National Catholic Youth Minister’s Conference.

Tom is a musician and praise leader. He leads the school praise band "Final Hour" (www.finalhour.org). Final Hour performed at World Youth Day in August 2006 and the National Youth Conference in Atlanta in 2006. Tom leads praise and worship at the Lancaster Catholic Heart Work Camp held in the summer.

Tom is the organizer of the annual Wind and Flame rally for 8th grade students (with 700+ teens in attendance), and the Lancaster Family Fest a music festival that includes activities and speakers for the whole family.

Tom has worked with youth and their adult leaders for over 10 years in a variety of settings including parish ministry, college campus ministry, and currently, Catholic high school ministry.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State and has completed studies in theology at the undergraduate and graduate level.

A wannabe golfer, vicious croquet player (mercy does not exist on the lawn of life when he has a mallet in hand), avid guitar player, and computer game junkie, Tom resides in Elizabethtown, PA, with his wife, Patty, and his six children, Bridget, Sarah, Bernadette, Jacob, Matthew and Patrick.
